Greenzy is a startup specialising in innovative ways of recovering organic waste indoors, set up by 3 committed women. As engineers, they wanted to put technology at the service of the environment by offering comfortable, easy-to-implement solutions to help citizens and businesses be more environmentally friendly. Greenzy's first product is an indoor composter that is design, odourless and easy to use. The composter transforms organic waste into mature compost in around 2 months. The composter is suitable for both private individuals and businesses (in offices). You don't need to be an expert to get quality compost. Thanks to its monitoring system, users receive a notification via the Greenzy app when action is required. For example, if the compost is too dry, they will receive a notification to add a glass of water. In 2024, it becomes compulsory in Europe to sort organic waste. And in Europe, 80% of organic waste is still incinerated or buried! So Greenzy is helping citizens and businesses to comply with this new legislation with a solution that has a positive impact on the environment. The composter is eco-designed: made from parts sourced from Belgian and French companies. The plastic used is recycled and recyclable. The composter is designed to be easily repaired to facilitate maintenance and extend its lifespan. For each composter used, users will reduce their impact by 40kg CO2eq/year. |
