Belgian Security & Defence Industry (BSDI), as part of AGORIA, is the central platform for companies providing technological solutions or services for military use - from rugged materials and mechatronics to digital systems for monitoring, communication and intervention.

Since its inception, under the impulse of Jacques Rogge, former President of the International Olympic Committee, the Belgian Sports & Entertainment Technology initiative has evolved into today’s Agoria Sports & Entertainment Tech Belgium Community — the leading Belgian ecosystem at the intersection of sports, entertainment and technology. 

Hosted within Agoria, Belgium’s federation for the technology industry, the community brings together innovative companies, scale-ups and established technology leaders that drive digital transformation across the sports and entertainment sectors. Its mission remains clear: fostering cross-fertilization between technology and sports & entertainment to enhance performance — both on the field and in business. 

Today, the Agoria Sports & Entertainment Tech Belgium Community represents a dynamic network of companies active in areas such as:

The Agoria Sports & Entertainment Tech Belgium Community acts as a strategic platform for collaboration, innovation and international business development. It connects technology providers with sports federations, clubs, event organizers, venue operators, broadcasters and entertainment companies, facilitating partnerships that accelerate growth and impact. 

With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and internationalization, the community positions Belgium as a global reference hub for sports and entertainment technology.

AKT for Wallonia (formerly “Walloon Business Association") is the organization of private employers which acts to ensure the prosperity of Wallonia, through the establishment and support of an environment and a framework which allow the creation and development of competitive and sustainable companies.

From small family companies to large multinationals, AKT for Wallonia represents the 80.000 companies of Wallonia. All branches of industry and services actively participate in the structure.

AKT for Wallonia promotes a strong entrepreneurial world and raises awareness about sustainable growth. Acting as one of the main sources of information about the Walloon economy and its companies, AKT for Wallonia is the key point of contact regarding those issues for the authorities and the civil society stakeholders.

Supported by its members (including 24 sectorial federations) and by strong partnerships, the operational team of AKT for Wallonia is based in Namur.

Since April 2024, AKT for Wallonia and the Walloon Chambers of Commerce and Industry have further strengthened their collaboration since they decided to unite their destinies to formerly form a single, large, dynamic community for all Walloon companies. Since September, they share the same name "AKT" for greater visibility and impact.​
