The Oncidium Foundation is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to advancing nuclear medicine therapies for cancer care worldwide. Our primary mission revolves around education, awareness, and support for individuals facing the daily battle against cancer, with a focus on those in need of access to the best possible care.
At the heart of our foundation lies a global network comprising over 85 Ambassadors who work tirelessly on both local and international fronts. Their mission is to expand the reach of radiotheranostics for cancer care, ensuring that cutting-edge treatments are accessible to those who need them most.
In the realm of cancer therapy, precision-targeted Radiotherapy in Nuclear medicine is gaining recognition, yet its potential remains underexplored. Many patients and healthcare providers are still unfamiliar with the existence and advantages of radiotheranostics. As such, our foundation places significant emphasis on education and awareness to foster their global development.
Currently, radiotheranostics remain accessible to only a limited number of cancer patients. Access is contingent upon geographical location and the availability of approved and funded treatments within national healthcare systems. Unfortunately, many low- and middle-income countries lack the necessary resources to meet the needs of cancer patients, hindering their access to life-saving innovative therapies.
Through our initiatives and the groundbreaking RLT-Connect platform, we aim to bridge these gaps and provide financial support to patients in underserved regions, ensuring they receive the best possible cancer care. Our dedication to this cause drives us to continue raising awareness, educating, and advocating for equitable access to cutting-edge treatments that offer hope and a chance at longer, better lives for cancer patients worldwide.
