EDPO is a Brussels-based company acting as European Union (EU) Representative for organisations established outside the EU that are subject to key EU regulatory frameworks. These include the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the AI Act, the Digital Services Act (DSA), the Data Act, and the NIS2 Directive.
Non-EU companies doing business in the EU, including Turkish companies, are legally required to appoint an EU Representative when they have no establishment in the EU. EDPO fulfils this role and serves as the official bridge between non-EU companies and the European regulatory ecosystem.
We act as the formal point of contact for EU individuals and supervisory authorities, and support the handling, translation, coordination, and notification of regulatory requests and communications.
Headquartered in Brussels, the heart of EU policymaking, EDPO operates through a network of offices across the EU. As representation is our sole activity, we work independently and collaborate closely with leading law firms and consultants to ensure seamless regulatory compliance for our clients.
