Credendo – Export Credit Agency was created in 1921 as the official Belgian export credit agency (ECA). Over the years, it evolved from a traditional export credit agency into an international player that today heads European credit insurance group Credendo.

The Belgium-headquartered group provides customised solutions for domestic and international trade, such as insurance against non-payment and termination risks, but also provides financial guarantees and direct financing options.

Credendo covers risks worldwide and at the end of 2024, was covering more than EUR 100 billion of risk.
